Failure is all about the eye of the beholder. If you think that you aren’t good enough, then you won’t be good enough.
You have to be willing to fail in order to succeed. If you think because one iteration was unsuccessful, your idea is a bad one, then you are limiting yourself.
You have to be willing to look silly or say the wrong thing or step outside your comfort zone in order to reach new heights. If you want to stay where you are, then you can continue doing what you’re doing. But if you want to move forward, you have to be willing to take a risk.
The only way something is a failure is if you don’t learn from the experience. If you’re walking away with a lesson, then there was no failure. It’s only when you’re too closed-minded to see the lesson do you really fail.
Explore the “why’s” of taking a step forward, and let go of the “why not’s.” And allow yourself to try.
Find what motivates you and watch/listen/read it every day. Wake up feeling inspired and ready to conquer the world.
Figure out what you’re fighting for. What future you want to make a reality. Once you pin that down, make it something concrete, you’ll have the fire to catapult yourself into action.
What future are you working towards?
What does it look like?
How are you getting there?
These are the questions I’ll be asking myself this week, so I can crystalize everything I want to achieve.
